1. Looks like they are winning more than we want to admit.

Bannon and those like him are watching the federal government struggle and crumble under the incompetence of Trump. That is their goal. Trump spends his weekends at a swanky resort playing golf. I don't think winning to them is the same thing as what winning means to someone like a Paul Ryan.

That said, we aren't losing to the possible extent we could be. Our efforts to fight them has been strong.

There are multiple different players with multiple different end-games. Winning and losing is a bit arbitrary.

Things Trump could care less about.

Making Mexico pay for a wall.
Defeating ISIS in 30 days.
Enacting term limits.
Bringing coal jobs back.
etc.

He will be the lease accomplished President. It's because he will put in the least effort.
