Salon.com

I get it that websites are bombarding us with advertisements and I'm trying to tolerate them as best I can, and if they're off to the side that's OK.
Salon is a site I visit almost daily but their videos are out of control. The last two times I logged onto the site there were actually TWO videos playing at the same time.

I guess they succeeded in getting my attention...

I suggest downloading their app. That's how I read it.

(Warning, sometimes it doesn't click on the correct article from the app and you have to scroll left or right to get the one you wanted).

I use a Windows machine and Firefox. Since installing Adblock Plus and FlashStopper browsing is much more pleasant.
