Not sure if i find that credible. They're clearly throwing Flynn up as a sacrificial lamb.

(7,217 posts)It is an article of faith among Reich-wing conservatives that all of history began on January 20, 2009 and ended January 20, 2017 at high noon.
(Before that it was January 20, 2001 thru January 20, 2009, after which the blamed the Obama Administration for not immediately cleaning up the disasters of George W. Bush.)

(12,448 posts)Flynn is dirty and so is Trump. Of course "the White House" (aka Donald Trump) declines to provide incriminating documents.

(86,612 posts)I wish this whole shit show would just be over. I feel like I did the last time <THE LAST TIME> I ever got on a Ferris Wheel, I realized what a rickety POS the whole contraption was as I rose to the top of the wheel and suddenly wanted to get off before all passengers were aboard. That flimsy bar across my lap and slippery seats... if that thing had been a truck for me to drive, I would have handed back the keys with some choice words about how it wasn't even close to road-worthy. But I currently feel like I'm at the top of the wheel waiting for the awful ride to start.

(51,129 posts)and he likely thinks he is going to be the fall guy even if he wasn't in on the plan. But he wasn't the only one lying about Russian contacts. Manafort is the real Russian in all this, and Manafort picked Pence (or should I say Putin picked Pence).

(51,129 posts).... Marc Short, Trumps director of legislative affairs, has a substantial track record in Washington, having worked as a top Hill aide to Trump's more affable running mate, Mike Pence. And those who know Short a Virginia native say hes got a sharp eye for strategy, eschews credit and will be effective at smoothing Trumps rougher edges when it comes to relationships with lawmakers. Though he briefly worked for a Trump primary rival Marco Rubio Short maintained his ties to Pence, and they paid off when Pence joined Trumps ticket in July.
Shorts selection to be Trumps legislative liaison is yet another manifestation of Pences outsized role in managing the Trump administrations relationship with the Hill. ....

(63,211 posts)People have no problem tagging their posts as (nt) or (eom). When an OP is nothing other than a regurgitation of someone else's tweets, it would be a nice nod to etiquette if these posts included a subject line tag like (ltt) to let their readers know..
I know, I know. Anything that offers even the illusion of inconvenience to an OP is insupportable, but I can dream, can't I?

More importantly, after reading the OP title, why can't you find out for yourself what is happening in the world in less time than it takes to post a negative comment.

(63,211 posts)As has been stated repeatedly, a large number of DUers are unable to view these link-to-tweet posts, so the posters' regurgitations are blank. I don't understand why these regurgitators can't be bothered to identify their posts as nothing but links, but maybe I'm a jerk for expecting a minimum of courtesy. Adding an "LTT" tag is not an onerous request IMO.
No shit I can hunt down the information, thanks. But your post made it seem like you were contributing something worth reading, and it would have been nice if you'd included a disclaimer to prevent that impression.

(63,211 posts)And I complain because twitter regurgitators lose their shit when urged to display even a minimum of courtesy.
I would be happy to avoid those threads if there were some way to identify them, but twitter regurgitators refuse to make any concession that would allow this, for some reason. If you could have been bothered to label your OP as simply a regurgitation of someone else's tweets, I wouldn't even have brought it up.
Further, the workplace policies of other DUers are none of your damn business.

(63,211 posts)As stated, I would be happy to avoid all twitter regurgitations on DU, if only the regurgitators were willing to demonstrate the barest courtesy.
Hell, if they'd add an LTT tag or some equivalent, I'd happily Trash that tag, and we'd never have to discuss this again.
At least one other reader clicked on your OP with the mistaken belief that it would contain something worth reading (or able to be read). Why is that so difficult for you to grasp?

As you interpret it rather than as it may be collectively interpreted.
Dig in and repeat the same line. That helps, too.

(1,462 posts)Not sure why it bothers some people and really don't care. Keep posting. Also I lol at people crying about posting etiquette. We have an orange madman in the WH and people are crying about message board etiquette? I wonder why shit puke rethuglicans think all liberals are snowflakes?

(63,211 posts)I see that you took it upon yourself to trash your fellow DUers. I note with interest that I've had posts hidden and threads locked for doing less, but it's clear that DU loves its tweets, so you get a pass despite your direct and obvious violation of the TOS.
If someone wants to regurgitate someone else's comments while adding nothing of value, that's up to them. And if others want to praise them for it, I guess that they're welcome to set the bar as low as they want.
LOL Lib
(1,462 posts)You accuse me of trashing people on DU yet you are the one being nasty. Go ahead and tell me where I can file my opinion unless you are too scared.

We need to do a good job of vetting that, but thats a complex issue, and Im not sure anyone could be expected to find that, Sessions told Good Morning America.
He told Today the same on Friday: They do the best they can, referring to the Trump transition team who vetted Flynn. Its impossible to know everything. I dont know what they did in that case.
Sessions noted to both programs that he didnt expect to be involved in any potential investigation of Flynn, and he would not confirm that one existed. ..............

DCATs Scott Dworkin was blunt today on AM Joy: Michael Flynn should be in jail - and a paper trail will lead back to Pence and Trump. Tell Congress here [http://bit.ly/2mpmgDT] to demand a full, independent #TrumpRussia investigation with a special prosecutor and an independent non-partisan 9/11-style commission.
