Let's put it like this.

If Elon Musk or any of the persons he has working for him in upper management said "the batteries Tesla makes are feeble". Or "the model of our company is failing". Don't you think that is detrimental to the company? Do you think people want to run out and purchase their cars in light of these comments from people who hold important positions within the company?? Do you think this instills confidence?

This is not about the primary (i feel i have to point that out). This is about recent events.

that everything was going great and nothing had to change, he would be sacked and replaced by the shareholders.

Gerrymandering and voter suppression efforts have been going on for years, why weren't the democrats prepared to counter them?

evidence that the CEO is actually pretending what you claim he is pretending. Counter evidence to that final premise would damage the argument. Abundant and documented counter evidence would demolish the claim.

Analogies are valid only to the extent that they are on point.

*Rush calls us the "Democrat" party, though.
