(4,033 posts)Seems to me that the problem is going to be standing. In order to file a Civil suit, you have to show that you, personally, have been harmed by the person you are sueing. It would be tough for the Democrats to show. How have they, as individuals or as a Party, been harmed by 45's conflicts of interest?
Trying to make a Criminal case would also present problems, since the President could simply pardon himself for whatever crime he is accused of.
