So Presidentin Is Hard Work?
Hey, Donald - if you think being POTUS is hard work now, imagine how hard it would be if you actually fulfilled the duties of your office.
Imagine having to keep yourself up-to-speed on the minute details of foreign affairs – ya know, like Obama did. You don’t even know the difference between Syria and Iraq, being easily distracted by something more important, like a piece of chocolate cake.
Imagine actually listening to lengthy daily briefings to keep yourself apprised of current events, and discussing their implications with trusted, experienced advisors to ensure you’ve fully understood what you’ve been told – ya know, like Obama did – instead of insisting those briefings be short enough to get you back to Twittering without too much undue interruption.
Imagine drafting executive orders yourself, and then revising them countless times until you were sure they were crystal clear in language and intent – ya know, like Obama did – instead of getting one of your lackies to write them for you, so you can sign them having absolutely no idea of their content.
Imagine handling a gruelling schedule that includes entertaining visiting foreign dignitaries, making speeches around the country, visiting the troops overseas, traveling to meetings of world leaders, attending the funerals of Americans cut-down by violence, holding press conferences, addressing issues like racism, homophobia, Islamaphobia, and even taking the time to play basketball with our soldiers – ya know, like Obama did for eight long years. You couldn’t even organize the annual WH Easter Egg Roll without fucking it up – and it’s not like you were busy doing anything else. How is it possible that Obama managed to fulfill all of these responsibilities and more, and you can’t handle even one of them?
Imagine actually knowing what’s in a bill meant to overturn Obamacare and replace it, instead of remarking (duh!) that healthcare is more complicated than you thought? We all know you never read that bill, and have no idea what it contained, or what its implications were – ya know, like Obama did. He never promoted legislation that he was he wasn’t completely familiar with down to the last detail. You, on the other hand, never read anything other than your own inane, misspelled, grammatically incoherent tweets.
Imagine how hard “presidentin’” was for a man who put in endless hours being a President – ya know, like Obama did – instead of bitching about how his responsibilities were interfering with his golf schedule.
Imagine actually doing the work necessary instead of shirking your every responsibility as POTUS, while complaining about how hard-done-by you are as a guy who just wants to be left alone to pursue more important things – like “tweeting” ludicrous accusations against your predecessor, and then trying to find some patsy like Nunes to throw themselves on the political bonfire in order to give credence to your idiotic rantings.
Presidentin’ IS hard work – but one wonders how you, of all people, would know that. You’ve never done a hard day’s work in your life – and no, cheating hard-working Americans out of their pay, setting up a “university” that bilks people out of their savings, diverting funds from your “charity’ into your own pocket, and grabbing women by their pussies does NOT constitute “hard work” by any stretch of the imagination.
Hearing you say that you thought being POTUS would be easier than your “old job”, one is left to wonder just how incredibly stupid you are. Did you really believe that leading a nation was going to be easier than plopping your lard-ass in an over-sized chair yelling You’re fired! on a TV show? Did you really think that the most powerful nation on the planet could easily run itself while you played golf?
Those are thoughts that Obama never expressed. He was too busy leading a country to complain; he was too busy being a PRESIDENT to whine about his responsibilities. He was too busy NOT being a jackass like you, while actually doing a job that you can’t handle.
If Obama was the terribly incompetent POTUS you keep saying he was, the obvious question is: How did he manage to fulfill ALL of the duties of his office while you can’t fulfill ANY of them?
Yes, presidentin’ IS hard work. And yet, Obama handled the job with ease and style. You, on the other hand, can’t seem to accomplish a god-damned thing.
