near my town in Everett, WA last year. Very inconvenient since all roads within a 10 block radius were closed. We stayed away from Everett, where our favorite India & Italian restaurants are located.

A cousin who does not like what is going on with North Korea. He now says he does not like Trump but he frames it as - now he does not like all politicians, including Trump. A Republican woman friend, who I agreed not to talk politics with, finally came around and said how upset she has been with Trump lately. However, in my small town, it seems like the "Christians" are sticking with him.

It will take something personal before they will change.

I know someone at just like that.

We were talking about Obama Care.

It is hitting home now and the North Korea thing.

Her son is stationed in South Korea.

I warned about her about Trump before the election.

I told her you are being played.

Now she seeing the light but will not admit it.

...one of which sometimes is carried by a white woman. During the campaign there were some in Florida who lookd really dodgy, like the black guy who was a wannabe cult leader.

Also recall the paid actors at Trump Tower when he announced his candidacy.

It would make sense for his handlers to decide the boss needed cheering up with a crowd, and just hire folks.

Here's what I propose.

First, your opening act needs to lead the audience in a sing-along. I suggest this, displayed on the Jumbotron screens...

Note: Having Ted Nugent lead it to the tune of "Wang Dang Sweet Poontang" (if there IS a tune somewhere in there) isn't cutting it anymore. Fire him.

Anyway, when the crowd is at their peak of pre-orgasmic intensity and the random fires caused by exploding BIC lighters have been extinguished, you make your entrance, dressed appropriately of course:

Go ahead and give 'em your standard crap speech. They won't understand what you're saying any more than you do. Just use a lot of your patented "okeedokee" hand gestures. They eat it up. Remember, though, you should always end the performance with your closing theme:

It'll be boffo, believe me. Stick with me, baby, and we'll make you great again.

No charge. You wouldn't pay it, anyway, you crooked sumbitch.

he's a blustering blowhard who hates the people they hate.

They will worship him.

He could literally shoot one of their family dead in front of them and they would go on and on about how that child, spouse, brother, or whatever, truly deserved it. I know plenty of the Iowa variety of these people.

I know one family who no longer speaks to their daughter who is in college since they found out she voted for Clinton. They told her she can come back home after she learns about "real leadership". Lucky for her, they were not paying for college.

They love him for what he SAYS.

The fact that what he says is 100% fiction and what he does is 100% shit on them is irrelevant to their calculation.

Of course, if hate talk radio and FOX news was removed from the equation, you'd see many of his "true believers" jumping ship. Brainwashing has been very, very effective, comrades.

will work until something happens to affect them personally. And it will. Taxes? Reinstate the draft? Lose health care? Next thing you know hospitals won't be required to accept anyone at the emergency room. That could be added to the end of a long bill and described as a pro business change, like businesses not having to accept customers who can't pay. Hospitals are businesses after all.

I think a year, maybe a year and a half. A few more might wise up by October 2018. We Democrats aren't ever going to reach some of them.

When the elections come we'll have to settle for progressives, genuine moderates, and those remaining R's (however few of them remain) that put the interests of the country ahead of the interests of the Republican Party.
