Thanks for finding the actual source. Listening to the actual recording and viewing the “text” are very different indeed– somebody did a great job of leaving parts “out” to definitely make him look stupid. This is FAKE and ridiculous.



The part where he talks about the campaign of Andrew Jackson in 1828 as being nasty such as the one he went through and our country continues to go through because Trump haters can’t get behind their president yet. Leaving this out as his actual quote when he did discuss is not honest and makes this “news” of this interview meaningless and less than genuine.



I will use this as a example sometime of how “news” can be manipulated to suit one’s needs and not the needs of the news consumer. The context is deceptive because he said “had Jackson lived during the Civil War” things would have been different. This is different than a president being confused by the actual timeline for the Jackson presidency and the Civil War 40 years later. In the recording he clearly knows, but the “print” version leaves out the details.



The peddlers of this are definitely again Trump trashers and not being honest. Check out the recording and form your own opinion. Thanks for finding the actual source these guys try to attribute as “fact.” Taking out of context is skillful and I am sure fun for some… while this may be amusing it is off target.
