CNN is refusing to air Trump's 100 day ad because it references "Fake News".
If that part is removed they will be happy to run the rest of the bullshit ad
Go ahead and lie - just don't lie about us

Plus - they aired his recent nazi rally in its entirety - at no cost to Trump

(2,446 posts)Not so sure about that based on reasons stated.

(1,046 posts)The lying, poisonous, piece of shit ad? Why should we have to watch Cheetos propaganda? The less networks that run it, the better.

(3,739 posts)bullshit propaganda ad. They could have taken the money to run it. I am glad they did not.

(35,287 posts)nope - nothing there that says i want the ad to run anywhere
Like Trump CNN doesn't like to have it's feelings hurt
other than that they are willing to run the - what i called - bullshit ad

(4,742 posts)If someone wanted to run an ad saying that the music on my station sucked I'd tell them to fuck off. So...I don't agree with you.
lame54
(35,287 posts)but if the rest of the ad lied in other ways - you'd be wrong if you were willing to run it as long as they didn't criticize your station
titaniumsalute
(4,742 posts)Frankly in most cases we don't know if an ad is lying or not.
For example, a big car dealership here used to have an owner who would pontificate his political thoughts in his commercials. While I didn't agree with him I ran them. Who am I to be the thought police?
Legally we can turn away any commercial.

(43,181 posts)But I'd rather spend our energy against Trump at this point.
Picking minor battles against the media for trainwreck TV isn't my top priority.

(35,287 posts)Trump's big mouth and CNN's free air time go hand in hand
CNN is being praised for it's stand - but a closer look will show them to be completely disingenuous
they're only looking out for themselves
for a while they were kicking ass and taking names - now they slipping back into dictation mode

(6,916 posts)Media sources seen as liberal or mainstream normalizing 45 or amplifying demonization of Hillary are THE main reason America is in this mess.
Bannon's main enemies (and 45's) are CNN and the NYT. Because they have enormous ability to influence half of America.
Read the NYT story on Zucker (CNN CEO).
If you want to get this president weakened or out, your goal should be to lobby CNN and protest Fox and conservative hate radio.

(50,949 posts)no. Just no. CNN is not trying to take healthcare away from millions and make it worse for millions more. CNN is not exploding the debt, there are countless other things I can say but you get the drift.

(6,916 posts)CNN is pursuing profits. They normalized the president and amplified his message.
