...guilty of many horrific crimes...

Invisible Children made a 30-min documentary called "Kony 2012" that went viral on youtube and around the internet advocating that he be brought to justice. Unfortunately they misrepresented several key facts and approached the issue from a propaganda standpoint rather than a strictly fact-based one. They made it look like he was still active and that nothing was being done about him, while in reality he is on the run, is no longer in Uganda, and the government actually has pursued him (to what extent I don't know; I only know they took issue with how they were portrayed in the video).

The video was considered offensive by many for perpetuating the notion that it takes *Concerned White People* to solve *Poor Helpless Africans'* problems, ignoring the complexities of the issues.
