...(although his IS a paranoid)...but because this pea-brained knuckle-dragger has the memory of a f-ing GOLDFISH! The only way he can REMEMBER the details of conversations he's had is to secretly record them.
Have we forgotten that great moment where Trump was hosting an official state visit from Prime Minister Turnbull of Australia, and he couldn't even remember the guy's name? Have we forgotten his statements about how the 'gentleman' in charge of North Korea has been hoodwinking Clinton, Bush Jr., and Obama? When in fact, that was three different gentlemen, ALL WITH THE SURNAME KIM, and he couldn't even remember ONE of their names? Have we forgotten that Trump's lawyers used to have to meet with him in PAIRS so that there would always be a witness to what he said? Otherwise, he'd either forget, or change his mind, and then claim he never said what he said.
If you're an addlebrained billionaire who meets with businessmen, and you need to remember details about what was said, you have to do one of two things: You either take an assistant with you to take notes, or you SECRETLY RECORD all the conversations. And if you're meeting with somebody to discuss slimy, secret collusions, you CAN'T take an assistant with you, so you only have option two. You record the conversation.
There ARE tapes, and Senate Democrats were wise to send the requests directly to the WH Counsel.
"I shouldn't say this to...(who the f-k is this bozo)...our great gentleman..."

(42,552 posts)President Donald Trump replayed clips of Senate hearings for reporters in order to mock the testimony of former top administration officials, according to an interview published Thursday.
Trump on Monday during an interview with Time reacted to testimony earlier the same day by former acting Attorney General Sally Yates and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper in a Senate Judiciary subcommittee hearing.
Watch them start to choke like dogs, Trump said, as quoted by Time. Watch what happens. They are desperate for breath.
When Clapper hesitated, according to the report, Trump said: Ah, hes choking. Ah, look.
