Mitt is getting hammered right now..

from what I can tell the meme is spreading pretty far that Mittens either needs to shake up his campaign staff or give a real policy speech. It seems the money power that is backing prick-boy are seeing his chances go down the fucking drain.

seems heading by the WSJ

Pics of "obliged Romney vacationing at his estate doing cameos while riding a jet ski"

You should have seen the look on Krauthammer's face earlier talking about the Mitten and his campaign on Faux

hopefully this sticks... I give it a week before he gives a big "policy" speech or somebody gets shitcanned

Have already slotted Mittens as a "throw away" candidate. That is a sacrificial lamb something like Bob Dole in '96. And he's perfect for the role.

As soon as we get a substantial lead this year and are in place to win even in the event of an "October Surprise" we should start working hard on CONGRESS. I think the back room of the Republican party has likely already all but conceded the presidency.

If we hold off and they nominate him, we destroy him. Conservative turnout is depressed and that favors us in close races.
If we fire away and they broker their convention, it's over for the GOP in 2012 and the downballot for them could be brutal.

They're stuck with holding back the deluge like the little Dutch boy with his finger in the dike.

They already know he's a complete dud. Most people can't stand him, and the only reason many GOPers are voting for him is that he isn't Obama, and they really want Obama out. This isn't just about "blowing up" Romney. It's about squashing any enthusiasm in republicans to go out and vote. Romney isn't going anywhere. They are stuck with him. And, the more "bloodied" he is, the shorter are his coattails. AFAIC, he can't be piled on enough.

They are going to have to announce the running mate. There are only some 50+ days until the convention. He doesn't have many opportunities to distract. THe veep nominee is one. Of course, that is a one time shot and he will soon find himself in this situation again. The reason being, he is a lifelong liar.

Happy hour goes on all evening. By the way, I wonder how Republicans can complain about Romney's lack of policy specifics when no one in their party has offered any policy points besides very general notions of trickle down tax cuts and lifting of regulations. No Republican has stepped forward to describe what programs they would cut if the budget is reduced or what health care plan they would propose if they repealed and replaced the ACA.
