Yes, he could be sent to jail

that is likely to end this mis-presidency in a matter of months. He will not talk. So that the only option is to "stay strong", go to jail and live happily ever after somewhere after that. His leaking of the early heads-up to the WH counsel is a bargaining chip for his sentence.

His lawyer said he would "take the 5th" if asked to testify.

Wouldn't be better for him personally to go before the committee and say "on the advice on my attorney I plead the 5th amendment."

This looks bad for him.

But seriously

(CNN)Retired Gen. Michael Flynn has not yet told the Senate intelligence committee how he plans to respond to a subpoena for documents relevant to the former national security adviser's interactions with Russia, committee chairman Richard Burr said, reversing his earlier comment that Flynn would not cooperate.

Earlier:
"Gen. Flynn's lawyers said he would not honor the subpoena, and that's not a surprise to the committee, but we'll figure out on Gen. Flynn what the next step, if any, is," Burr, a North Carolina Republican, said at the time. "

I wonder what happened in between those two statements.
