"Oh, noes! That's going to interfere with our important work on this matter!"
"Oh, noes! The witnesses we were going to subpoena now won't have to show up for us!"
"Oh, noes! This is really going to slow things down!"
"Oh, noes! We won't be able to call some people to testify before us, because the Special Counsel will deem them HIS witnesses!"
Translation: "Oh, noes! Someone outside of our power is actually going to investigate and conclude this matter, and us dragging our feet on action, while giving lip service to an "investigation", won't do any good any more!"
That's what you get for feigning impartiality, Lindsay Graham, but stating that Trump firing Comey didn't mean anything. After all, Schumer called for his firing a while back. Trump will just appoint someone else who is not political and is honest and capable (As Trump in the background zeroes in on weakling shoe licker, lazy Lieberman....a politician who doesn't know anything about conducting FBI investigations, and is just so grateful to Trump to be considered relevant again)

(14,400 posts)to a lesser degree, the Senate didn't slow walk the investigation from day one we might not be here. They gave Trump enough rope and now it looks like the idiot has managed to get it around his neck.
I'm going to sit back and enjoy the ride.
