Mr. Comey — who is 6 feet 8 inches tall and was wearing a dark blue suit that day – told Mr. Wittes that he tried to blend in with the blue curtains in the back of the room, in the hopes that Mr. Trump would not spot him and call him out."

I can't stand it - he's 6'8" and is going to blend in with the curtains. I mean, I know there is more to the article but that is the part that just slayed me.

It's like he's a really cute guy at the prom, and he's hiding so the mean girl can't find him to make him dance with her.

2. Then he said to himself that there wasn't going to be a hug - bad enough to shake hands

and he tried to pre-empt Trump's attempt to hug him by grabbing his hand in the handshake

I mean whatever reservations I have about Comey, the more I read about him, the more I like him

5. I suspect he's likeable.

We may not agree on his decisions, but if he was acting honestly, I have a hard time dissing him for that. It's easy to like honest, principled people, I think.
