Karen Finney, "It's all about who do you trust..."

She was on the Martin Bashir show and was discussing Obama's low job growth versus the job growth that Mitt Romney promises. Who would you trust to make this economy better?

Mitt Romney plans on initiating the new and improved "Supply Side" economic plan if he is elected. There will be even more and larger taxcuts and there will be very painful spending cuts to pay for them.

Now you don't have to be a genius to understand how miserably our economy has done under supply-side policies. In the last decade, under the George W Bush Supply Side 2.0, we had the slowest job growth since we have kept records. Not only did the jobs not grow, but they grew the deficit to a level unseen in history before they crashed it over the side of the mountain. So now, Mitt Romney is offering a new model of this economic plan.

It is true that the President's economy has not created as many jobs as we need but we have to put it into the proper perspective. We were losing 750,000 jobs per month when he took office. The economy was in shambles. People were losing their life savings rapidly. Nobody had the confidence to hire more workers. Have you fucking forgotten ??

Last month, we only added 80,000 new jobs. But that is a hell of a lot better than minus -750,000 jobs. That is the economy that Mitt Romney wants to return to. I would say this to anyone thinking of voting for the Romney Supply Side policy. "Don't be an idiot".

Use your head for something besides a hat rack...

And can't help but wonder why no one has made the point that it is clear that the business community is comfortable with what President Obama has been able to do ... After all, they are still hiring, despite the gop's obstructionism in the only area that President Obama (or any president) can actually directly affect ... the funding of the public sector.

They have actually been cutting jobs from our economy. They have cut over 600,000 teachers, cops, and firemen.

Since Bush lost 750,000 jobs in his last month in office, that Barack Obama created almost a million more jobs last month than George W Bush did in his last month in office? Actually, the difference in the job growth would be -750,000 plus +80,000 or 830,000 total difference in one month's job creation. Does that sound too much like Republican math??

But if you put it in all caps, bold-faced, and with some random dead link ... the right will ignore it as "another one of them factual facts."

And the left will actually do the math and attempt to follow the link and then fall over laughing, as the joke settles in.
