I would not.
Although it would be totally insane and irrational for him to do something like that.
But it would temporarily change the topic of conversation and it seems that all his thoughts are of the temporary nature?
I would never have guessed that he would have the Russian Ambassador and Foreign Minister into the White House, but he did.
He said that he liked to be "unpredictable".

(1,154 posts)Yes! It is the exact reason we (and the whole fucking world) is in this mess. Putin's economy is slowing because of the sanctions. He has to stop the slide, and we should all be very worried about how far he will go.

(17,984 posts)I guess he will sputter and moan a little when they are lifted, but he won't do a damned thing to prevent it from happening. Nor will any other GOP senator do anything to stop it.

Now, knowing Vlad's history, I would be surprised if the 19.5% is ever actually released, by Vlad, to Schwarzman & 45... even if the sanctions are lifted.
But *45 will have to either
lift the sanctions or
hold on to the Executive branch
until they automatically expire next spring....
in order to see if Vlad will pay up.
When he finally gets cornered &
realizes his remaining day's in power
are no longer represented by double digits
He will whip out his gold sharpie &
EO the sanctions away....
