Ohio Restaurant Owner Dies After Meeting Obama

President Obama's motorcade stopped for breakfast yesterday at a small family-owned restaurant in West Akron, Ohio.

The restaurant's 70-year old owner, Josephine "Ann" Harris, was thrilled to meet Obama, who she considered her hero.

Harris didn't know Obama was coming until earlier that morning, report Stephanie Warsmith, Rick Armon and John Higgins, of the Akron Beacon Journal Online.

"It was great," she said, after the President left, while sitting in a booth at her restaurant with a wet towel around her neck. "He treated us like one of the brothers. He hugged all of us... and got his picture taken with all of us."

A couple of hours later, Harris said she was feeling tired and felt a "tingling" feeling.

She was rushed to the hospital, where she died at 11:15am.

I hope the White House has some people @ the funeral ..... I wouldn't be surprised if Michele and or Barack
make it to the service.

My family and I would like to thank President Obama for making my mother's day by coming to Ann's Place and honoring us with his time. My mother was a great supporter of President Obama and has always felt he was doing what was right for the American People. My family and I do not feel that our President caused this tragic event in our lives. Instead, President Obama provided her with one of the happiest moments in her life. What does THIS mean:

The unsaid irony, of course, is that the President's visit also probably killed her, or at least hastened her death. One of the less-discussed hazards of being President.

If something like that is tossed into the article the author ought to explain what the hell he means.

5. The stress of Obama's visit probably didn't help her heart condition

Obama arrived without prearrangement at the restaurant at 8:30 am.

This probably involves much more than Obama himself.

Harris had no idea Obama would make a stop at her small diner, which she had owned for about 30 years. Her daughter came and picked her up, and they hurried to the restaurant.

Harris said she and Obama hugged in the parking lot.

So she hurries to get ready, her daughter picks her up, and they get to the restaurant as Obama is leaving?

The media is still there after Obama leaves interviewing her and taking pictures.

Harris, who mentioned during an interview Friday with the Beacon Journal that she hadn’t been feeling well, was at her Copley home not long after Obama’s visit when she complained about fatigue and a tingling feeling. As Copley paramedics rushed her to Akron General Medical Center, she went into full cardiac arrest. They attempted to revive her, but she was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to the medical examiner’s office.

Obama, the murderer? Can we add that to him being foreign born, socialist, and Muslim?

And what does this even mean: "One of the less-discussed hazards of being President" ??

That whole paragraph is out of place, biased, unexplained, i.e. lousy journalism.
