my husband and I looked at eachother with a look of disbelief on our faces. No words were spoken. Then I turned off the tv.

I tuned in because I thought, just this once, he may comport himself with some dignity. And up to that point, I must admit that he hadn't really fucked it up. I thought he may just make it through the whole event behaving like a decent human being. I mean, it's MEMORIAL Day, not "look at me" day.

That motherfucker can't even pretend to care even one little bit. He was acting like an antsy child, twisting side-to-side, singing, tapping his chest to the music. My god, what complete idiot. It's like his only instinct is to make sure people are paying attention to HIM. He has zero social skills.
