Trump voters are beyond hope

I interact with quite a few "God fearing" trumpers in daily life. Most of them when presented with the steep cuts to the social safety net are A-OK with it. This is because the previous President ran up the debt 'mericah is in and this one has to make deep cuts to balance the books. Also, they are a hundred and ten percent sure that the repeal of ACA will not affect them in the least because Trumpcare is meant to leave those "others" without subsidized medicines not patriots like them

It's always going to be someone else's fault. I know people who blame Trump's early failures on Ivanka. They claim she does not have the moral grounding that Trump has. Which is a joke, who do they think raised her?

14. Moral Grounding. Is that like a foundation? Where mob-types place bodies of those who oppose them?

In the end, these same people will die and like Ahab spit their last breath at "socialism" and that "Kenyan usurper". They deserve their fate because they have hatefully chosen it...but the innocents that will die along side them do NOT. THAT is the greater tragedy here.

My bag of fucks to give Trumpers has been empty from the jump...but the harm his idiocy is going to do to others and the environment is an unpardonable sin.

or just sheer stupidity.

Can't think of another reasonable explanation for their
delusional denial of a reality that is directly in front of them.

It is clearly the belief in their genetic superiority based on their skin color. They feel that as White People they are owed everything and if the rest would just go away they could live like Royality

They truly believe all of the country's problems can be resolved by building the war, deporting everyone with brown skin and repealing Obamacare (not the ACA but Obamacare). Subsets of deplorables believe banning abortion and eliminating any program used by any non-white person will also cure all of our ills.

These people could not be any dumber, although I am sure several will prove me wrong each day.

11. Statistically speaking, there are millions of people that voted for Trump

Who are not hardcore Trump supporters. I agree with you regarding his "fans"; they can't be reached. There are plenty of others that can be reached. We know that there are people that voted for President Obama that then voted for Trump. Those people obviously can be reached. That doesn't mean they should be catered to or placated by altering our message to fit them. But I do think there are plenty that can be flipped.

12. I am taking about the hardcore "deplorable" here

There are plenty of other people that voted for Trump for various reasons and the democrats need to make an effort to reach out to these segments and address their concerns. However, I have come to the sad realization that about 25% of the country is classified as hardcore deplorable and no outreach is going to help with that.

It's basically impossible to even have a dialogue with them because they live in an alternative reality. They really just need to be marginalized as much as possible. Anything more is a waste of time and energy.
