Barron "really" believed that KG had his creepy father's head. LOL! What a lie.
Donald just weaponized his son.
No one was talking about Barron. Donald brought Barron up. Donald should have not done that. This is BS.
Donald does not give A F about Barron. Using him to win an argument.
Edit: I'm not excusing KG, am condemning Donald for using the kid card. Low, needless & careless tactic.
Edit2 : In the meantime images like these were common the whole of last year.

(2,357 posts)but I will ensure he is not so trusting of the TV by the time he turns 11...
I mean, come on, Barron's father goes on endlessly about "fake news", and the kid still trusts what he sees on TV is the real thing? Even then the President is certainly well protected from the likes of a certain red-headed female comedian?

(7,178 posts)No one official would come to tell him. What a complete joke!
Nice farce they have going on there!

(63,210 posts)Absolutely 100% correct. Trump deliberately chose to use his son as a human shield, and on the off chance that impeachment proceedings ever begin, you can bet that Trump will spend a lot of time tweeting about how hard it is on poor Barron.
Barron's only problem is that everyone knows his father is an idiot fuckhead.
Madam45for2923
(7,178 posts)Donald bringing up Barron is not a show of a father caring, actually the opposite. This is what a father not caring looks like.
It was downright sleazy and creepy for Donald to bring his son up to this discussion. It was a low tactic.

(63,210 posts)As my son noted, the picture is so obviously fake that no one could possibly believe it or be upset by it. When I asked how he'd feel if he saw a picture like that of me, he said. "Fake like that? I'd laugh."
Granted, my child is an amazing genius with insight beyond his years blah blah blah...
Playing the Kid Card this early in his administration, Trump has shown once again how thoroughly out of his element he is. There were any number of ways to respond to Griffin that didn't involve his son, but Trump doesn't care about those. He only wants to maximize his adulation and praise, so he did this with the expectation that everyone would commend him as a father protecting his son.
Madam45for2923
(7,178 posts)Yes, makes no sense.
Especially Donald being president and all. You'd think if something like that happened his son would not find out this way. There would be more official ways for him to find out. Donald is making his son seem ridiculous even to young ones like your 10yo.
Does not pass the smell test.

(7,178 posts)I don't like depictions of extreme violence at all. I will condemn it with words and actions but I don't want laws.
Him bringing up his son was a low blow IMO.
What Griffin did was deplorable, I did not like it. Crossed a line. ( Not a legal line)
Donald bringing up his son is sleazy and creepy.

It is disgusting but also really creepy from a clinical point of view.
