Women Using Birth Control Can Be Fired By Employers Who Are Christian.

If you work for an employer who embraces Christianity, they theoretically can fire you for using family planning because it is against the Christian religion they practice. Even if you buy your own pills you are vulnerable.

Under the GOP or Trump umbrella this reality is the new normal.

Birth control pills would show up in urine. Not sure about the IUDs that use hormones, though.

And, for that matter, why would a woman's employer know what medications she takes?

Sometimes I think you're just making this stuff up as you go along.

Nowhere in that stupid book they batter us over the head with does it say anything about women preventing pregnancy, and they did, although the methods weren't anything we'd want to use. It was done and it was well known that it was done. Only MEN were chastised for dropping their loads into the wrong places. Onan's sin wasn't masturbation, it was not impregnating somebody he didn't want to impregnate. Ancient laws were weird.

If only misogynist Christians would bother to read that book they're using as a battering ram to destroy the country, they'd realize they've been told a pack of lies about what is really in it.

Jesus himself said nothing about abortion or homosexuality. Neither did god. It was all said by priests in the OT and Paul in the NT, and none of them said anything about abortion or birth control.

If there was an historical Jesus, he'd hate what form he'd been twisted into.

They will discriminate themselves out of the best employees. There aren't many women who are in the work world who don't use birth control of some kind at some point in their lives.

Or they'll just hire all men. But then they'll have to pay more.

they'll punish you for being pregnant. Once a woman has a child her future earnings and promotions are reduced.

that females of ANY age can be abused in ANY way by a man. The only thing females have a right to is to shut up and let ANYTHING be done to them by a man. In fact maybe they should make a law for men that if they are caught being nice to a female in anyway they will be jailed for one month. All of this crap is going to far already so what the hell?

I know a few others have also stated and I'm also curious.

Nowadays, anything can be found on the Internet. Fake news didn't stop November 10, 2016.

I believe the republicans will press any situation to get Rowe v Wade to the Supreme Court for redefinition. It wouldn't surprise me a situation stich as this will arise. I do want to know about it so I can follow and support the standing of human right over ones body.

Please provide something we can expand upon.

We are now in a period where employers may have complete control over workers in ways not seen in the last 130 years. Our labor laws are being nullified and ignored more and more.

Employee rights are virtually non existent. With he loss of unions and a hostile DOL Secretary Of Labor and lax enforcement in some parts of the country the employer can fire you for any reason they want. And with this administration I will bet it will be hard to get a case for wrongful termination. Plus most of the labor market is "work at will".

Plus the GOP is now totally out of its mind and drunk with power. And Trump is working at giving the religiously inclined to do whatever they want.

Look at Texas and they are working at making illegal for anyone to even help a woman with an abortion. So what is to stop these zealots. Trump is already also working at taking birth control coverage where employers pay for insurance.

So anything is possible with this administration and the GOP.
