pulled this nation out of the Paris accords. For what? So big oil can have a few more unimpeded years?

We all share this planet and it is time for this nation, America, that we all love, to take the lead. We sure did under Obama. Oh, people did gripe that it wasn't enough or was too little too late. But dammit, Obama DID something. He got it going. He was a world leader, THE leader of the free world, a leader we could all love and be proud of.

And now look at what we have.

I don't even want to say his name.

Turns out, for some technical/bureaucratic reason I do not understand, we cannot actually "leave" until 2021.
which means new President, hopefully a Dem, will be in place.

He knows an empty suit housing an arrogant ass when he sees one. It is virtually impossible to be in a French government and NOT see one. Trump probably stood out like a rotting tree in a virgin forest.

Interestingly enough, I was just down in Paris two days ago, and the French are so far not impressed with Macron due to the fact that his domestic economic initiatives are still a mystery to them, and that is where reform is most desperately needed to get the French economy going again. But on the foreign relations scene, they are with him just as the Germans are with Merkel, and etc. etc. etc around the world. How could anyone not be? Even Netanyahu must be saying WTF at this point.
