(10,435 posts)hundreds of thousands of tiny donations will bring down the average amount and make it a little less less obvious that most of their money is coming from big corporate/billionaire donors.

(2,959 posts)on a $450.73 paycheck they kept the $.73. The bar made money hand over fist by doing this. Never underestimate the ability of small change to add up quickly is the lesson I learned from that relative.
Those $1.00 donations add up & it's an amount lots of people can afford.
