Six years ago, Lloyd Blankfein, CEO of Goldman-Sachs got a Twitter account. And hes never tweeted a single chirp. Until today. And what did he use his very first tweet to do? To slam Donald Trumps pullout of the Paris agreement!

(26,026 posts)and despite whatever disdain I may have for the capitalistas running Goldman Sachs, I don't consider them stupid. They know which way the wind is blowing, and it's favorable for renewables from here on. That's not even taking all the trade implications - with possible sanctions down the road - into account.

(4,066 posts)I'd be willing to bet he's done business with Trump and gotten screwed in the process. Might have a little resentment going on and this is a safe way to let it out. He doesn't have to worry about offending the rest of the elites because Trump is on the wrong side of even them on this. There is no future in dirty energy. Certainly not in the international market.
