IMO, How will a private industry make money from the FAA???

It will of course require a bil$ job to complete and put in a new system and then what???

The only way to put in a new system it would need to be a companion system with the existing system, and about a 10yr project.

This doesn't make sense even when you throw in a couple mil$ in kickbacks.

5. They will charge usage fees. And being a monopoly, you get the idea about fees and raising fees.

It's part of the "rentier class" business model.

They want to own/control something that will provide endless streams of revenue. Then they and their descendants will never have work and will have lots of money to play with.

We see what occurs when corporations own how to move a countries money - look at what citizens united has done for "us."

Except close to airports, so just avoid those areas and you'll be fine.
