Is it any coincidence that the Mayor is a Muslim, born to Pakistani immigrants? Would Trump have written such a tone-deaf Tweet to some other Mayor of a major urban center?

Trump appears to have a problem with being polite or thoughtful to anyone who follows Islam, unless that person can do him some financial good. That, combined with his constant problem of understanding the English language and expressing himself in it, often leads him to blurt out stupidities on Twitter.

At one time, the United States had Presidents who took a moment to think, and then consulted with others before writing responses to situations that occurred outside of our country. No more. Donald J. Trump prefers to tweet out the first thing that comes into his head in such circumstances.

Sadly, this is the man who occupies our White House. Perhaps his time in that position will be limited. Hasten the day!
