Newt: Trump is "infuriated at a deep-gut, personal level" over Russia investigation

President Trump is angry and gearing up for a fight over former FBI Director Comey's testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee, the Washington Post reported Tuesday.

Two senior White House officials told the newspaper that Trump is planning on responding to Comey's comments via Twitter, and Trump's official schedule is clear before his first event at 12:30 p.m.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich told the Post that Trump is "infuriated at a deep-gut, personal level" with the news media for covering the Russia investigation story, and for praising Comey after Trump's decision to fire him.

“He’s not going to let some guy like that smear him without punching him as hard as he can," Gingrich said.

Tell him to shove his wounded pride up his ass. You live life being lead around by your overblown ego and every mirror becomes something you have to break.

And that's simply not a healthy mind.

If not for the fact that his successor was a goddamn pedophile, Gingrich would be remembered as the most disgraceful SOTH in living memory.

Can't stand being called on his bullshit. And money won't make this go away. Regardless of whether the reps do anything the dems will likely get a majority in the senate and revisit it in 2018. Maybe they can use the nuclear option to oust him.

Gratifying that NY attorney general is investigating plus Mueller's probe is widening and finally getting down to serious business with top notch prosecutors on board.

Sign of desperation that TRump Pac is running anti-Comey TV ad on at least CNN and Fox to provide damage control and keep the right wing spin going.
