It also figures that nothing will be done about the conflict of interest this causes.

No investigations from someone who will want to go back to his old job one day. Just another lackey who will protect assets instead of the people.

Finally and probably most importantly, also while AAG DOJ in the early days of the Plame investigation, Wray provided inappropriate briefings to John Ashcroft about what Ashcroft’s buddies had said during FBI interviews.

This is what led to Ashcroft’s recusal and the appointment, by Deputy Attorney General Jim Comey, of Patrick Fitzgerald as special counsel.

In short, it seems Wray is likely to ensure that highers up never see any consequences for their actions. And he sure seems likely to keep Trump in the loop on the investigation of Trump.

Let's bring the lawyers' bad practices into this cesspool we're investigating. You think this is uncommon? Lord no, it's not. Conflicts of interest abound in American society, and are getting worse because social networking IS replacing every safeguard that we once knew. The crossing over of the private and public sector was the beginning of the end.

Wake up, sleeping giant. Wake up.

I want to say; "Can this situation get any worse?"

Then sanity slaps me, and says "Oh yes, give it 15 minutes".

It has been said that it always gets darkest just before the dawn.

That does not make me feel any better, not at all.
