No Fitzmas, likely no smoking gun, but he's pissed and I don't think it's gonna be a good day for the orange shitgibbon.

(17,006 posts)is because they are worried. There has been lots of talk questioning Comey's actions in regard to Hillary/e-mails/campaign but I've not heard anyone question his integrity. He always seems to be portrayed as a straight shooter. They are going to have a hard time painting him as a disgruntled employee who wants revenge on his former boss, especially since he documented everything as it occurred.

(5,557 posts)Part of me refuses to believe someone who played a huge role in sabotaging Hillary's campaign could end up being Trump's downfall.
But I keep thinking that his recent words make no sense unless working with Trump forced a change of heart. If Comey really is doing this out of guilt for his part in throwing the election, then this could be really good.

(15,238 posts)The intelligence community had Trumps number and Comey may have been using that for cover to take down Trump. Trump got his win with help of really dark forces he actually asked for in public outside of his control. Eternal vigilance failed and the Trump wrecking crew won. I hope history will not be kind to Comey or his schemes. We are left in the wake of Trump with an Executive popularity contest.

(3,283 posts)but I have no expectations that it will be anything substantial. The repubs will stonewall, we know that for sure, and the Dems will be lost in all the word salad. I hope to be proven wrong but I expect nothing, therefore will not be disappointed.
