Comey releases prepared remarks for tomorrow and OMFG they are damning

Fired FBI Director James Comey will recount private conversations with President Donald Trump in his public testimony Thursday before the Senate Intelligence Committee, according to a copy of his opening statement released by the committee.
Per the document, Comey’s sworn testimony will confirm published reports that the President privately asked him to swear “loyalty” to him and that Trump asked him to put an end to the FBI’s investigation into fired national security adviser Michael Flynn, calling him a “good guy.”
Comey will also testify that he told Trump in a Jan. 6 meeting at Trump Tower that he personally was not under investigation—an assurance that Trump claimed Comey provided him on three separate occasions. According to the copy of the opening statement, Comey will say he offered that assurance without prompting from Trump.
