NY Times alert. James Comey will say he told Trump he was NOT under investigation, and

that Trump pressed him to say so publicly.

So Comey sent an email to the republicans in Congress, WHICH NEVER SAID THE INVESTIGATION WAS REOPENED, but the republicans in Congress, and the media characterized it as the "email investigation was being reopened"

What is wrong with this picture?

"By MICHAEL S. SCHMIDT 20 minutes ago

James Comey, the former F.B.I. director, plans to testify that he told President Trump he was not under investigation and that Mr. Trump pressed him to say so publicly.
The testimony was published Wednesday by the Senate Intelligence Committee, before which Mr. Comey was scheduled to appear Thursday."

1. Comey has always been a Republican - and so are many media executives.

Even so, I doubt there anything Cheeto could do to compel Senate Republicans to impeach him. Someone could leak photos of Trump, neck-deep in Russian prostitutes and rubles - and Bitchy Mitchy would still oppose it tooth and nail.

As everyone in the news business knows, most people only read the headline and top-line summary.

Thank you for that.

3. a side issue of no importance, trump asked Comey to pull off an investigation

interfering with an investigation is called OBSTRUCTION, and is impeachable

7. I agree, but on the Times front page that is their headline. When you click the article

the headline inside says that trump asked Comey to say that publicly.

It is only when you read into the body of the article that the interference is discussed, when Comey asked him to lay off Flynn

It seems to me the Times is putting emphasis in the wrong place initially, to paint a grey zone. There is no grey zone, and I admit I may be overly sensitive

a more perfect picture of what really happened in November is emerging. The Corporate Media and the Corporation's had the GOP members all compromised as well certain Persons within Agencies, and with the help of Hackers and off shore money, were able to Flim Flam the Voters.

Are we seeing a major Corporate Protection Racket happening in real time. When Dean said this was Watergate on Roid's,he was so right.

They colluded with the Russians, no question.

They are criminals and traitors.

And they are stonewalling, obstructing, and refusing
to testify.

None of this should be allowed to happen. But with
complicit Reeps in charge, well, all souls have been sold.
