It confirms earlier press reports, which is significant.

But, no new allegations in that statement. We already knew/understood the jist of how those conversations went down.

You've used it in several posts so I assume it refers to Trump but I don't get it.

Actually, d2s is a Xenon light bulb which is very bright. I doubt that's what you mean since Trump is the dimmest bulb in the box.
