My take on Comey's opening statement

If the biggest damage to Trump tomorrow is just that,
Trump wanted Comey to say he is not part of the investigation,
and Comey wouldn't say that incase it changed.

Then this is a huge letdown, that is horrible, that is not even
close to even being a little part of the puzzle that could take trump down,
so far there is nothing here that could even raise the slightest eyebrow,
or get me excited about tomorrow.

Trumpy wanted comey to say that he is not part of the investigation, and comey wouldnt

It's up to the committee to follow them.

blows it all up. There's a lot of work involved. Putting all your hopes in one person or step or stage will only lead to disappointment.

The intelligence community men had no courage today.

Unless Comey says something we don't already know, tomorrow's testimony will be a big nothing burger as well.

We know he's not going to comment on the Russia investigation.

We also know he will not commit on obstruction of justice.

We all already know Trump is a serial liar. More tales of lies without actual illegality adds nothing.

I sincerely hope I am wrong, but I am not going to be watching with my popcorn.
