They seemed to think that Comey gave out with some stuff to keep Dump into not backing out.....then all hell
broke loose...but I can't believe Comey is going to spend a whole day (or alot of a day) to just give a detailed
descriptions of what HE SAW and Dump could NOT verify.

6. Is an investigator required by law to answer...

a suspect truthfully if they ask them if they're under investigation even if it might compromise an active investigation by doing so? I don't remember that as a requirement.

I'm not saying that I think this definitely happened, I'm lacking enough info to even take a good SWAG (scientific wild ass guess), but is it possible that Comey would have lied, and still be lying, when he answers about this to protect an active FBI investigation?
