Cenk Uygur trashes Dem Party

Look I made clear during the primaries that I was 100% Sanders. When Clinton won, I supported here 100% and even campaigned for her. Why? Because I knew that trump was a raging shit show and no matter my differences with Clinton, she was hands down superior in every way to trump. That choosing Clinton mattered more than differences that would need to be worked on, there would be no instant gratification. I say that because people like Cenk are not just targeting Clinton but the entire Dem Party. Feeding republican trolls and causing us problems leading up to mid-terms that we CANNOT afford. Fuck you Cenk Uygur. Asshole.
On the day of Comey's testimony, when republicans spent their whole time trying to make it about Clinton, Cenk Uygur makes it is mission to trash the Dem Party and attack Clinton.

Some who do are just young and ignorant, but those'll sort themselves out eventually.

The radical-to-far lefties, who are claiming to be oh, SO "concerned" about the Democratic Party and oh, SO "concerned" need for "reform," are having what they imagine is their moment. Blaming the liberals and moderates who have the power they want, when, of course, many of them DID vote for Rump, or didn't vote at all, not that they care to admit it.

If I had to choose between far-left and far-right hells, I guess I'd have to choose the left. But, they'd still both be hells.

Pointing out obvious problems is NOT TRASHING. Anyone refusing to acknowledge the issues is just whistling past the graveyard at this point. And refusing to do anything about it is a losing proposition. Because being "not Trump" or "not Republican" is not good enough. It wasn't in 2016 and it won't be in 2018.

Jesus Christ, can none of you read a fucking article because it was posted by someone you hate? Is that what it's come to? Seems awfully kneejerk to me.

The article is ridiculous. It is not the answer to the Democratic Party's issues anymore than Trump being the answer that those voters were seeking.

The article boils down to the point that in order to be successful that the Dem Party needs to be more centrist, more racist and more Christian-focused, in other words a center-right watered down Republican Party.
Fuck that.

Sorry, trump and republicans are not going to give those that voted for them any satisfaction or improve their lives. Hate, racism and religious zealotry is not going to help us win elections.

As a white male, I find this crying about "black people get all the advantages now" is bullshit.

Illegal immigrants make up 4% of the population, majority employed in jobs most whites would not do at any price (ask AL among others). Blaming 4% of the population for your problems, be it economic or social, is not a campaign issue, it is an education issue, because it's pure ignorance.

Sorry, not buying the "become republican-lite" as the answer.

As a white male, I find this crying about "black people get all the advantages now" is bullshit. It's a lie. Things are not disparately in favor of people of color. What this article does is allow trump and republicans to control the narrative and engender the very racist myth that people of color get all the advantages now. These type of conversations do nothing to solve real issues that exist in hiring, housing, law enforcement and justice for people of color.

Illegal immigrants make up 4% of the population, majority employed in jobs most whites would not do at any price (ask AL among others). Blaming 4% of the population for your problems, be it economic or social, is not a campaign issue, it is an education issue, because it's pure ignorance.
