But I tend to believe it. This is because most if not all GOP senators beleive Comey told 100% truth. They don't doubt his integrity but feel trapped. McCain is the leading anti-russia hawk, he can't possibly get over it. He wants putin to be punished but he knows trump will never do it.

It's not just Comey, the entire senior FBI staff is on the same page as he noted. Trump would have to shut sown the entire agency to stop the investigation. Sessions, being legally competent, got scared for himself cause he understood the consequences and probably knows some inside information.
