CNN is asking questions about the White Houses decision to place their reporter in the back of a White House press briefing on Friday.
We were in the equivalent of Siberia, no pun intended, when it comes to where we were seated, CNNs Jim Acosta told Wolf Blitzer on Friday night. That could be seen as an oversight on the part of the White House staff but it could also be seen as retaliation over the reporting were doing over here at CNN.
CNN reporters are typically seated with other cable news networks at the front of press events so that their cameras have an unobstructed view for stand up live shots.
The White House has occasionally changed seating arrangements in the past for various reasons, however during Fridays event Trump specifically called out the cable news networks for treating him "so badly."
"Should I take one of the killer networks that treat me so badly as fake news?" Trump asked, before calling on ABCs Jon Karl.
Fridays event also followed testimony on Thursday in which The New York Times was called out for not true reporting on members of Trumps campaign, and other reporters pointed out that the Times was seated in the back row, too.

The very first time that "Spicey" was on SNL, "Jim Acosta" was in a "cage" in the corner.
How pathetic they are.

(51,590 posts)He's too stupid to realize that you don't make enemies of the press, intelligence agencies, judges, countries, etc. They will turn on you instead of helping and supporting you. It's NOT due to the fact that he's new to this political environment and is learning. Also, when you screw someone for no reason they naturally will want to even the score. This is common sense. DUH!

(1,474 posts)First, comparing trump to sneaker full of shit? What has anyone got against sneakers full of shit?
Second, trump is a boon to media. They loved him during the election (for the ratings). Now they can tell what an asshole he is (for the ratings). Sorry to everyone's asshole.
I believe the press was a major player in getting clustertrump elected. He was good for ratings. A close election was good for ratings.
FUCK the MSM! Ratings above real journalism.
