Pierce: Gather Round, It's Leader-Praising Time!

http://www.esquire.com/news-politics/politics/news/a55590/trump-cabinet-meeting-north-korea/

Anybody familiar with the United States of America—or even with a hypothetical democratic republic—couldn't help but be confused by the televised dumbshow we had Monday morning when the president* called his Cabinet all together for the first time. However, I would guarantee that the hosts of Good Morning, Pyongyang would recognize it immediately. The Leader spoke about how great he was and, in reply, the heads of the executive departments agreed with him wholeheartedly and thanked him for allowing them to share in his greatness...

Gaze in awe.

Not normal.

But no puppet.

That a spectacle like this could happen in our country- Nixon didn't do this, Reagan didn't, Dubya didn't- SMH. This is what we've elected. As someone below posted, if this isn't a Mein Fuhrer moment I don't know what is.

that spectacle in my life. It's beyond disgusting, probably the most pathetic demonstration of boot-licking I've ever seen or even heard of. It's truly worthy of Pyongyang.

You know how bad it really is for Trump right now by the extremes to which the propaganda show is going.

That was absolutely sickening! I think tRUMP thought that by doing this, all Americans would see how everyone thinks tRUMP is doing a great job and see that he's a great president, but what they don't get is, that it's supposed to be other people, NOT your OWN people, that should be praising him to make it believeable! Let's say, all the Democrats in Congress or the whole audience of The Daily Show, sat around and praised tRUMP like that, then that would be a message worth sending! It doesn't count when it's your own people doing the praising, you buffoon!!!

They must be destroyed quickly.

If we have to wait till the end of 2018, democratic, honest elections may be a thing of the past.

1) this is clearly a spectacle to show unity in the white house

2) its also a way that they are stroking his ego to help him continue. i wouldnt doubt that they start doing this before every cabinet meeting if they havent started to already.

Please apply your ChapStick now while I drop my drawers. Now one by one, line up and kiss my BIG FAT ASS! Grovel you bastards, grovel. Now tell me again, isn't that the best ass you've ever kissed? Tremendous right? Are you tired of winning?

This whole episode tells me more about the people around the table than it does about Drumpf.

Almost like they were speaking from memorized scripts - although Chris Cilizza observed that the fulsomeness of the praise was not consistent; he ranked the cabinet secretaries by their level of ass-kissing. http://www.cnn.com/2017/06/12/politics/trump-cabinet-ranked/index.html But it was interesting that Pence, the first to speak, set the bar for sucking up, and then the other secretaries (maybe just not wanting to be out-sucked by Pence) followed his obsequious lead. But it was almost like it eventually dawned on some of them that the fellatio-fest was being recorded, and the last few to speak were much less fawning than the first.
