Apparently, Fox News is showing people on the right very upset about violence directed towards them

In the immoral words of Bob Dylan, "How does it feel?"

Tiller the Killer, The Bundy militia, Ted Nugent, etc.

Fox News and the Gingrich Republican Revolution of 1994 have done more to spread left hate then any other time in US History.

It's not too pleasant, is it?

Putin cant take us over, literally, if we are a strong/sound/cautious/reasoned society.

He stands no chance in that case, so the idea is to change all that.

A different, less useful response is more likely, I'm sure.

what i have read as being today's shooters precipitating factors are things i believe. rationally, i think...trump will destroy this country. the republicans are hijacking our democracy and robbing the poor to give to the rich. they don't care about us. etc.

the targets on the left set up by the right, Dr Tiller for instance, a good man doing good work, but demonized relentlessly by people like o'reilly, until finally someone murdered him "to save babies." President Obama, trying in good faith for 8 years to serve this entire country, painted by the right as not even a citizen and so much worse. making "liberal" a dirty word.

have we on the left demonized the right unfairly? are they not happy to assume power following an election that was decided by a foreign power? are they not trying to strip health care away from millions of americans in order to give more money to the .01%? did trump not fill his cabinet with sycophants whose goals are hostile to those of the agencies they've been put in charge of?

it's just not comparable. that this guy went off and shot at a field full of congress people is horrific, but i don't think it's the result of hyperbole from the left. more it's the result of what's REALLY GOING ON in this country today.
