The republicans are "riding the tiger" with their acceptance of, and even encouragement of,

extremist rhetoric. Right wing hate radio and Fox News' bizarre and looney intentional misleading and distortion of reporting have aided in the current atmosphere of division. With the tragic shooting at the baseball practice in Virginia we are now hearing about vengeance attacks being threatened.

When you "ride the tiger" it's not so much of a problem. But when you try to get off, that's a whole new issue for the rider. Now the tiger comes for the rider.
