I want the crash to be huge and spectacular enough to keep the GOP out of power for decades to follow.

Mueller. Make conservatives have to deal with that chaos as well. A great lead in for 2018

Trump needs to find a Bork hiding under a rock among the career ranks of Justice. That could be a rare creature given given history the last 40 years.

Anymore, it's become impossible to predict anything regarding Donald Trump.

Because he had that authority.

But if he is "under investigation", he no longer has that authority.

I expect Trump to fire everybody at DoJ but the janitors.
That's assuming he stays within the letter of the law.
I don't rule out an unlawful power play.

Trump is the type of person that will create an inferno, then walk away to let others deal with it. My guess if he fires Mueller and Rothstein, Trump resigns after the pressure from those firings become too intense. He will leave Pence and republicans to avoid being wiped out by us in 2018 elections.

My only hope is Trump creates so much stink before resigning that republicans can't escape massive political damage in 2018 and 2020, nor Pence avoid losing in 2020.
