Six resign from presidential HIV/AIDS council because Trump 'doesn't care'

Six members of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS have angrily resigned, saying that President Trump doesn’t care about HIV.

Scott Schoettes, Lucy Bradley-Springer, Gina Brown, Ulysses Burley III, Michelle Ogle and Grissel Granados publicly announced their resignations in a joint letter published in Newsweek titled, “Trump doesn’t care about HIV. We’re outta here.”

The group said that the administration “has no strategy” to address HIV/AIDS, doesn’t consult experts when working on policy and “pushes legislation that will harm people living with HIV and halt or reverse important gains made in the fight against this disease.”

At the Conservative Political Action Conference in February, White House strategist and former Breitbart publisher Steve Bannon laid out what he called the administration’s “three verticals.” These priorities included national security, economic nationalism, and “the deconstruction of the administrative state”—in other words, the evisceration of decades’ worth of rules and regulations and the agencies that enforce them.
They don't need no stinking advisory council on AIDS doncha know

The group noted that Trump took down the Office of National AIDS Policy website when he took office and hasn’t appointed anyone to lead the White House Office of National AIDS Policy.

What with all the women (and hookers) he's bedded, who knows what diseases are crawling around his crotch. Oh that's right - this was HIS Vietnam. No wonder Melania won't even hold his hand - can't blame her.

Yes. Of course it is. Come on. This is 'old news.'

Bannon, Dugin, Putin, et al.

THIS SHOULD BE the biggest story in our wonderful news media and coming from the mouths of our Democratic representatives.

It's necessary to see the trees, BUT not at the expense of not seeing the forest.
