Looks even longer in the pic because of the angle.

Glad that everything went smoothly.

as a lifelong confirmed hetrosexual, I have never in my life understood anti-gay prejudice. Love is love. And I will stand up for love. Black, White, Yellow, Brown, Gay, Straight, Bi-, Trans. I really don't give a damn. If two people love one another, that's all that matters.
Seems to me that when we can treat everyone as an equal, then there are no 'others' and it makes it a whole lot harder to discriminate. Good on Portland!

As Jesus* said, "Whenever two or more are gathered in my name, there is love".

*It's the quote I am talking about, not who said it.

Not sure I'll stay. If I lose my health care or for a variety of other reasons, I'll head west, but this is a tiny, amazing city. The food scene is fantastic, if a bit over the top. The reception of refugees is warm and welcoming. Black Lives Matter is strong. We just have a jack ass for a governor.

I lived just north of Portland in the lakes region for 9 years and miss it every day. I'd love to move back some day.

It's a great little city. Restaurants, culture, natural beauty, great people.
