They are sitting back smiling "please proceed." Trump started pushing a claim of rigged elections right away. It garners a lot of public support for voter suppression.

It's an inescapable conclusion if one is to claim that elections have been rigged for a significant period of time. Without hard evidence, it's dangerous rhetoric that validates Trump's lies about the election numbers.

Seriously - the numbers of actual voters really DO matter.

I don't discount the rigging AND the removal of people of color from the rolls. I don't doubt that. But at the end of the day - you gotta get the people to the polls.

I was watching the news this AM and it stated that 80% of voters in this district care about Health Insurance/Care - it's a priority for them.

Handel doesn't care about that. She point blank said so.

I think Handel is fucked in this election.

I *think* those 102K early votes are most likely in his favor. Digging in deep to some of the African American activism that is going on in 'the shadows' - you have to remember -

The Junior League in that district has a lot of black women in it - my cousin in law is one.

The minority population is very well educated.

They took no chances.

I just think the guy is going to win.

I have one more strong belief about his campaign that I won't type at DU but suffice to say - he ran the 'right' way for this District.

Mainly schools undergoing renovations during summer vacation.

http://www.wsbtv.com/news/local/north-fulton-county/polling-locations-changed-ahead-of-6th-district-election/526637526

Fulton County is moving 12 of its polling places to different locations a little more than three weeks out from the highly watched Sixth Congressional District runoff election because officials said they had no choice.

Most of the polls are located in Fulton County School District schools, and shortly after the April 18 primary election, school officials informed elections director Richard Barron that they needed to renovate those buildings, so they could not be polling locations for the June 20 runoff between Republican Karen Handel and Democrat Jon Ossoff.

“We found out after the April 18 election,” Barron said. “Then we had to get our board to approve it, and then it takes time to get the letters printed and get the cards ordered.”

Barron said letters to the heads of households went out Monday. They’ll also be sending out new precinct cards.

I'm all for blaming it if you have proof. Like actual proof that would make a decent case in court.

But this preemptive "if we lose it's because it is rigged" nonsense is not just without any basis in fact for a website where we are supposed to be fact based but it harms or efforts. Because if you just default to "it's rigged and hacked" every time you lose then you never look past that to learn what you need to do to actually win.
