(101,311 posts)"This environment that we live in"? Yes, you dumbass excuse for a politician, *it has too much carbon dioxide in*, and that's because we're burning fossil fuels. The environment isn't a "knob". "Hey guys, things are a bit down, I think I'll turn the environment up a bit more"??? "Our problem is - too much environment!!!" Shit-for-Brains Perry couldn't do sixth grade science homework. How the fuck did he get elected as a governor, let alone get put in charge of a science-related federal department?
That the CNBC host called that a "pretty good answer" just shows he needs to be sacked. He knows nothing as well, and is just a brown-noser. Here's the ass-kissing in full:
"KERNEN: Alright Mr. Secretary, pretty good answer that you gave there. I think you're going to be fine with that. You gotta, you know you really gotta be careful -- you're right, you do. You know -- I don't know what the actual penalty is for not believing. I think you do get -- it's heretical, I know that, if you're a denier. But you did well there. Thank you, I appreciate it, Mr. Secretary."

(I was about to rip Kernen a new asshole on Twitter, when I found one of my favourite science writers, Tom Levenson, had already been doing it: https://twitter.com/TomLevenson
