Exactly - What Is The Plan To Prevent Russian Interference & Hacking In The 2018 & Beyond Elections.

I hear a lot of acknowledgement that the Russians interfered and hacked the 2016 election. I hear that 17 intelligence agencies have confirmed this. But what I don't hear is what is being done to prevent that from happening again in 2018 and beyond.

Aside from all the talk - is anybody actually doing anything to monitor and prevent that from happening again or is it just all talk and no action?

What agency is in charge of doing something - when the president won't even acknowledge that the Russians interfered and hacked in 2016?

Are we bound to make the same mistakes again in 2018?

If the American People realize nothing is being done - I can see more and more people sitting out voting because they will believe that their vote won't count anyway. This would be a tragic outcome and one that plays into the hands of Putin and the Repugs. I don't think that the Repugs have an incentive to do anything. Are the Dems doing anything or are they just talking too?

Are we doomed to let history repeat itself?

The fact that data analytics were used successfully to target groups of voters to vote against their best interests is something the Democratic Party should be able to combat.
Voter caging, cross check and other barriers, and other voter disenfranchment, will be harder to overcome. One would hope the courts will eventually be on the side on the voter. Until then, it is important to educate voters well before an election to double check their official voter registration, polling site, and voting ID requirements.
If votes were actually flipped, mis-tabulated, or otherwise altered because of hacking (not proven to occur but some speculation when looking at statistics), the Political party with the "best" hackers will undoubtably win. Voting will be a meaningless exercise.

The plan will be to raise more contributions to fight their data analytics with our data analytics. Regardless of the candidate that wins, GA6 has been very successful for the business side of elections.

Trump was an outlier as far as spending went. You would need to go back to 1976 to find another elected Presidential candidate that was outspent by their opponent, and even in 1976, it was a lot closer than it was in 2016.
