when one income could support a family. Forgetting that it was moderate Republicans and Democrats who were in charge 1940-1970.

Democrats are very effective at getting out the Republican voters.

Young poor white males don't accept that they'll always be poor. They work at pizza shops or whatever while scorning and mocking Democrats. They don't know much about politics other than a few sentences, involving taxes and national security, etc.

Rachel Maddow is a horrendous representative of our side because she has absolutely no clue that type of person exists. Those young white pizza tossing males thrill in every victory for their team, with no concept that anyone could favor the other side or that anyone could do anything but ridicule a Rachel Maddow type.

I use the pizza example because I saw it specifically in the Saratoga area for years. I'd frequent the same pizza shop after either attending the races at Saratoga or playing golf. It was great local pizza but I always had to tolerate three guys behind the counter who would belittle Democrats almost on a daily basis, talking amongst themselves. It was very similar to what I heard in Las Vegas sports betting circles for decades. Young white males are taught to back the so-called daddy party and it indeed becomes like rooting for the strong team against the perceived weak team. Trump knows exactly what buttons to push among that block. They gobble it up.

put there by years and generations of practiced magical thinking. Those little holy ghosts live there popping out with esoteric thoughts of their superbeing that will make all the pain and death worth it in the name'a. So forget about reasoning. It's those little holy holes in their brain that touch that voting screen for eternal glory.
