... Trump is nothing more than the personification of Adams's own pointy-haired boss. Ignorant know-nothing who doesn't understand how things work, who makes blanket assumptions and generalizations without basis in reality, and who has a puffed-up ego, blames others for his shortcomings, and is incapable of learning anything new.

Adams has spent decades - literal decades - lampooning the Trumps of this world. And now he wholeheartedly supports the crybaby-in-chief and is attempting to distort reality to do so. Accusations of obstructing justice aren't being levied against Trump because he merely said "I've done nothing wrong" - he FIRED the guy investigating him then bragged it made the investigation go away.

Sad!

It's an old saying from my youth. People get some real money, and suddenly they become republicans. It's the whole "they're gonna take it away" fear that turns them. Not sure what the opposite of empathy is (selfishness) but that's what it is.
