The Hill's Whip List: Senate ObamaCare repeal bill

Senate Republicans plan to vote before the July 4 recess on their legislation to repeal and replace ObamaCare.
Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has little margin for error, as he can afford just two defections from his conference with all Democrats expected to oppose the bill. Vice President Mike Pence could then be called in to break the tie.

Here’s a look at where McConnell’s conference stands on the legislation, which was unveiled on Thursday.
The Hill will be updating this list as Republican senators offer statements of support or opposition. Please send updates to mmali@thehill.com.

Sen. Bill Cassidy (La.) — Cassidy won headlines when he talked about how the bill needed to meet a “Kimmel” rule that would prevent children with pre-existing conditions from getting coverage. He sounded positive about the draft on Thursday, but said he’d review the legislation over the weekend.

Sen. Susan Collins (Maine) — The Maine centrist has been seen as a difficult vote for McConnell to secure. She released a statement after the draft’s release that said she would carefully review it over the weekend.

that will grow up to be poor adults for the low wage jobs that offer no health care. Then those poor adults will die and be replaced by fresh workers. It is the modern day GOP version of slavery with out the harsh labeling.

Will be very interesting to see who those others are. My guess is Toomey, Lee, Cruz.

I'm hoping that if they make changes to appease those 4, they will lose some of the ones that think it is too mean.
